Lindsay Harris

Lindsay gained a degree in Sport Science before she trained as a physiotherapist in 1998. After completing her Masters, she spent time in the NHS gaining valuable orthopedic experience and then moved to a private hospital setting specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Lindsay worked in a number of private clinics before setting up Banstead Physio & Therapies in 2004. She is pleased that it is now one of the leading clinics in the area and recommended by local GPs and Consultants that are looking for the best possible care for their patients.


Lindsay's main interest is within the manual therapy and sports injury field. She has competitive knowledge of gymnastics, netball, and golf and has had years of experience as the travelling physiotherapist with rugby teams.

Olivia France

Olivia graduated from King’s College London and has worked in private practice for the past 3 years including experience at Crystal Palace and London’s Harley Street. She is still involved with a London based Rugby Club and recently gained her masters in Equine Physiotherapy.


Olivia specialises in 1-1 and group Pilates and is a qualified Pilates instructor the highly acclaimed Australian Physio Pilates Institute.


Having competed to a high level in many sports, Olivia has a good knowledge of competitive horse-riding, swimming and modern pentathlon.

Caroline Fourie

Caroline graduated in 1985 at the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa with a BSc in Physiotherapy. She initially worked in a trauma hospital where she gained experience in trauma and general rehabilitation mainly in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.


Caroline moved to the UK in 1999 to be closer to her family and initially worked in the NHS, care of the elderly, focusing on rehabilitation.  In 2002 she moved to a private hospital working in outpatients and inpatients so she could follow patients through their recovery after orthopedic procedures.


Caroline has a special interest in treating chronic pain patients and has taken several courses to enhance her management of these patients.


Caroline enjoys playing squash and indoor hockey, as well as volunteer work.

Laura Barrett

Laura qualified in 2004 from King's College London with a first class honours in Physiotherapy. She specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has recently returned from Dubai where she has been head of Women's Health Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates.


Laura has completed numerous acupuncture courses since her initial training in 2005. She uses acupuncture where appropriate to successfully aid in the management of her patient’s recovery.


Laura is an accredited McKenzie practitioner, completing the McKenzie mechanical diagnosis and therapy training in 2009. She consistently applies the skills and knowledge of the McKenzie principles to achieve excellent results in the management of patients presenting with spinal pain.

Aliya Mowl

Aliya gained a degree in Biomedical Sciences before graduating from Kings College London with an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2008.  She currently works as a Senior Physiotherapist within an NHS outpatients department.  Aliya has completed her foundation acupuncture course.


Aliya has a special interest in treating ladies in the ante-natal and post-natal periods.


Aliya’s sports interests include running, going to the gym, skiing and dance, in particular ballet.  She has completed a number of running events including the London Marathon in 2008, the Run to the Beat Half Marathon in 2010 and the Southend Half Marathon in May 2011 raising in excess of £4000 for various charities.  In 2012 she took on her biggest challenge, a sprint triathlon, to raise money for SANDs

Val Andrews

Val trained at Sutton College of Learning for adults and qualified as a massage therapist in 2003. She specialises in deep tissue and  sports  massage, great for injury prevention and pain relief. But she also provides a holistic massage for de- stressing and relaxation


As well as her work as a therapist, she is also an international badminton umpire and has umpired 13 All England Finals, at six World Championships and two Commonwealth Games.


She regularly represents Surrey Veterans in inter-county matches and tournaments and helps keep the players from tightening up and risking injury.

Gayle Mason

Gayle trained at Omni Academy of Beauty and qualified as a massage therapist in February 2016. She specialises in deep tissue and sports massage, great for injury prevention and pain relief.


As well as her work as a therapist, she also works full time as a Technical Trainer for a Financial Services Company in Reigate.


Gayle is a keen runner and has completed 10 marathons so fully appreciates the benefits of a sports massage both for maintenance and injury prevention!

Mike Hickin

Mike trained at the London School of Sports Massage, qualifying in 1994, specialising in deep tissue and sports massage; great for injury prevention and pain relief.


He has previously worked with Olympic, international and club level athletes with an emphasis on keeping them injury free and fit for the rigours of training and competition.


After completing 30 years as a police officer he now works as a behaviour and welfare manager in a local school.


He competed at international level in athletics, specialising in middle distance and cross-country running. Mike is a qualified athletics coach and has worked as a fitness coach for rugby and boxing teams.
